Principal's Message

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to The Devki Ruiru Senior School, a place where academic excellence meets character, discipline, and purpose. As the Principal, I consider it both a privilege and a profound responsibility to lead this institution in shaping the minds and hearts of Kenya's next generation of leaders.

Our school was founded on the unwavering belief that every student possesses unique potential — potential that, when properly nurtured through quality education, mentorship, and spiritual guidance, blossoms into remarkable achievement. Our responsibility as educators and mentors is to identify that potential, cultivate it with care and rigour, and prepare young men and women who are not only competent in the classroom, but also confident, principled, and ready to serve the nation with honour.

Academically, we are privileged to offer the three CBE Senior School pathways — Arts & Sports Science, Social Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) — through a vigorous and supportive learning environment. Our dedicated teaching staff, all accredited by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), work tirelessly to ensure that every learner is prepared to excel in national examinations and beyond. We maintain small class sizes to guarantee individual attention, and our modern laboratories, library, and digital learning resources provide the tools necessary for 21st-century education.
